RESPONSIBILITIES
• Dynamic participation in the designing, programming and testing of Windows and Unix/Linux based C++ applications for the real-time reproduction of sound effects.
• Train junior engineers on flight simulator architecture, integration and design processes. Ensured their quick integration and skill optimization.
• Technical writing of software coding standards, design guidelines, software interface documentation and test procedures.
• Organize and perform off-site installations, updates and maintenance.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Designed and created a graphic interface under Windows 2000 using DirectX to transfer the sound generated on DSP cards (TMS320C6000) to the PC sound card.
• Performed code design, optimization, integration, debugging and tuning of over 100 real-time software sound models on over 30 flight simulators, using C/C++ on TMS320C44x and TMS320C60x DSP based cards.
• Analyzed acoustic data of 7 different aircraft types, edited, and integrated the sounds into the simulation software models.
• Member of a team of 4 to 5 engineers who support the installation and certification of the flight simulators at the customer site, internationally.
