Mcgill Spring League - The Final

We played the Final against Bayern Fokker today at 9:00pm at the Molson Stadium. It was a shock 2-1 defeat!!!! with 2 goal conceded in the last 5 minutes.

Hey guys,

We played the final last night against a team called Bayern Fokker. We had only 9 players while they had a full team plus substitutes. Nonetheless, we dominated the game. We had greater ball possession and we were the more composed team.

Shortly after the beginning of the second half, Damien scored a beautiful goal to put us a head; the score being 1-0 for MISN. We maintained the lead until about 5 minutes to the end of play, when our opponent capitalized on a big defensive error and level the score at 1-1. About 2 minutes later, there was another defensive error, which again our opponent capitalized on, took the lead, and eventually won the game with a score of 2-1.

It was disappointing considering how well we played with only 9 men. Our opponents were vigilant, they were there looking for weakness to prey on; when the opportunities arise they took full advantage of them. This is all part of the game of soccer; so hats off to Bayern Fokker: the league's champion.

Congratulation to Damien for winning the league top goal scorer prize. It was good playing with you guys. I think we all had a lot of fun.

MISN Impossible registered f or the McGill intramurals Spring season and Carlton recruited some mnew players.

hi guys,

this is a short note to inform everyone of our new addition to the MISN family. The talented Akua Attiah was born last Friday March 11 (If you need help pronouncing A-ku-a, give me a call). She weighed 6 lbs and very active, already kicking and dribbling :) I will send pictures later.
